21 July 2020 A very strong wind and bad weather suddenly gusted the Island of Vava’u on Monday morning the 21st of July 2020.
It was reported to social media by Vava Lapota that around six boats were damaged and sunk at the Port of Refuge by this strong wind, rain, and rough seas.
There were boats that was safely protected by the people who were there during the strong winds.
Climate change and strong winds have been affected the Pacific Island countries hence people are still resilience and cope with their lives despite of their struggles.
Government assistance will quickly keep people on their feet and resilience against climate change.
